How light can you strip an EVO? If you remove every ounce of parts that contributes nothing to performance including windshield washer fluid and tank and wipers, blinkers, headlights & tail lights(replace with some panel), door handles, all four doors and trunk, windows etc, can't you get your car down to like 2200-2300lbs? So basically you're running on a frame, engine and a seat. I think with stock powertrain and that little weight, 11.9 is plenty possible. Hey, at least the car is still stock right? Just a very salvaged one.

Anyone that can run below 12.8 with a "So called stock evo" is a liar. They always forget to tell u about the ebay o2 housing, race gas, and mbc set to 25psi.
"Yeah, its got an ecu flash tune, but nothing major" IT HAS TO BE STOCK!!!!
about the only mod u can do is run on empty tank of gas, and lower tire pressure.

Seems like you have an interesting project going on. Have you tried weighing it yet? Everything looks stock to me from what I can see in the picture, even the roof and pillar cut outs would be considered stock except that blue vinyl he used to cover them temporarily -) Only problem running that would be to find someway to use stock seatbelt as a harness as I can see in the picture the seatbelts are removed.
Maybe after you do your 'my fully stock 2100lbs EVO ran 11.5 in 1/4!!' you probably can turn it into some crazy speedster project. Cover up all but driverside, and do a lot of chassis reinforcement where the backseat and passenger seat used to be, you could probably move a lot of fluid tanks, battery etc to the back too.

I was exaggerating when I said 2100lbs, it would be pretty hard to break 2400lbs point even with panels off. Would need to start switching to magnesium, CF, aluminum for chassis parts to go lower. I know you can get an EF down to like 1600lbs. EK a little harder to reduce weight compared to EF/EG.
