What would be nice, is if a company could fab something up on the actual downpipe. This is what I was running when I had my 90 7MGTE Supra. Sounds badass @ WOT.

"This specially designed full 3" downpipe utilizes a seperate pipe for the wastegate exhaust that vents to the atmosphere, making for less turbulence and higher flow for more power gains. Dyno results have shown gains of 29 whp over a standard 3 inch downpipe setup."

I forget who mkes it, but there is indeed a downpipe like this for the Evo, but the dump tube is recirculated. Would make for easy modification to make it VTA, BUT, it's close to $900 I do believe. I wish I could find it. It's made by a JDM company.

yeah I'm surprised that there aren't more O2 housing eliminator downpipes on the market, i guess the stock o2 housing flows pretty well?

You know what I just thought of.... Just like the electric downpipes, you can have open downpipe at the flip of a switch. They should make o2 eliminating downpipes with a dump tube like that with one of the butterfly valves on it, so if you're in the mood to scare pedestrians, flip the switch! Only probably would be clearance.

Here is a quick drawing

So what company wants to fab one of these with an electronitc cut out of the dump pipe? I'm only asking for 15% of the profit

I know there is a compnay out there that makes the top version, which could be easily modded for VTA.

great drawing but seriously, someone should make this. or at least an O2 elim downpipe that recirculates the wastegate gases like the one you showed for supras, and also an O2 elim downpipe with wastegate dump
