ticking sound from motor

it has cams i believe but there is a small ticking sound that kinda sounds like the valves ticking. its coming from the left front of the head. could a valve adju. fix this or should i put the stock cams back on and take it to the dealership for them to deal with it so it will be warranty.

also this works very well to quite down the lifter tap. it worked well in my older audis which were prone to lifter tap.

After installing my cams (bled the lifters) there was that ticking sound for a few minutes. It should eventually go away if everything was done correctly.

since there are soooo many threads about strange ticking noises I will post this link for everyone. hopefully we can figure out if anyone/everyone is having the same or different noise coming from their car.

On a side note. after the car is warm it will sometimes go away.
