i changed my oil yesterday and the oil is still a bit dirty. not horrible but it didn't look like as clean as it should of been. is it possible that there is still some oil in the oil cooler (don't know the exact name for it) i dont understand how i didnt get it all out? any suggestions or tips? or perhaps im just an idiot. =(

Do an Oil Analysis to see what's going on with your internals. Blackstone-labs.com is great to deal with and reasonable.

Change it, drive around the block, change again, and your oil will be crystal clear if thats important to you and have 100 bux to blow on oil.

your oil should look colored, that means it is doing its job.

Did you take off your oil filler cap and dip stick before you drained your oil?? That might also be a cause of really dirty oil after an oil change.
