[Help]Refrigerant Re-Charge/Discharge

How do you discharge the refrigerant system. I need to take out the heater core to fix my hard to turn temperature knob and it says to uses the "recharging system" or something like that. Does anyone know how to do this?

Also, has anyone recharged their refrigerant system? Any words of advice?

You'll have to take it to a shop. There's specialized equipment for recovering and storing the freon. And you'll have to take it back to a shop to get it vacuumed and charged.
