i believe you suppose to have it in the dp, and the other after the test pipe. Also, i've read the article "how to tune an evo" and it said passenger side 3 o'clock position. I could be wrong...some chime in.

I've always seen the wideband 02 in the downpipe - not sure about any specific positioning tho.

This is right. You gotta have a bung welded on.

I bought my dp with it.

yes thats right, i also read that and it says its bad to mount in on the bottom or anything bellow 3 oclock or 9 o clock on the downpipe, due to risk of something in the road hitting it and moisture in the downpipe getting to it

Ok so you have no cat so no worries there. And a wideband instructions states you need to have the o2 censor between the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position and not below that. 3 o'clock is bad along with anything else other than what i said above because moisture can build up while the car sits and ruin the censor. As long as you dont put the bung to close to the turbo your fine and they say not after the cat but u dont have now so your all set. I put mine on the downpipe towards the firewall of the car. I just looked while it was on where a good spot would be marked it, drilled it out, welded the bung on and put it all back and ready to go. Hope that helps.
