Here is a two list that says the EVO is the 2nd most stolen car.

This list says the EVO is the 8th, but they rate every trim of each model that gets stolen. In reality, the evo is forth on this list.

yup that thting happen to me in my old car. i tried to use a hanger and well

lets just say dont do it. its not as easy as how it looks in movies or the internet


what i did was

called pizza hut they said they were gonna get here in 40 mins























then i called AAA they said they were gonna come in 40 mins

it all worked out great

Ive done this a bilion times. Just buy AAA and trust me its well worth it. Slim jims can F up the controls on your door pretty bad and coat hangers will rip up your interior.

For my 240, cop made me sign a waiver for using his "slim Jim"
Bent the rod to the door lock solenoid, but got it open. Had to get new rod.

Keys for evo's aren't cheap. Expect to pay $75+ at dealerships.

AAA will insert a small wedge into your door jam, then use a long extension to pull the lock tab.

Yeah $75++ i was going to have a spare key made but it was like $200+ for just the key!!

Oh and an air bladder does work great

It's always nice to know that there is info plastered all over the net how to break into my car. I suppose any thief worth his salt knows how to do this and amateurs will just smash the window anyway. I'm glad you got your keys out though.

drill a hole into a tennis ball. apply the hole part to the key hole and press the ball in hard. The tennis ball will create such great suction that it will unlock your door.
I have seen vidoe on youtube of this working.

Yea tell me about it! I bought an air bladder for getting into cars. The first store that I called wanted my Locksmith ID number??? . The second store that I called didnt care.

I suggest that everyone get one of these things. For 40 bucks you can get into just about any late model car. I even charge my friends a 20 dollar service fee. That fee can be waived for

If you had the spare keyless entry fob at home, and if you have someone at home with the spare keyless entry fob. One could have that person at home, press the unlock button, and send the signal through the phone, to your cel phone. The signal will travel through the phone to unlock your car, as you point the speaker of your cell phone at the car. That would unlock it.
