Wow I was thinking about buying that baby seat too since my kid just turned 8 months, I'm not so sure now that tsdchodan mentioned that the glass could explode into my poor kid's face. That could happen at anytime though, since he's already facing back anyway. Hmm, I have to think about that one.

Thanks A lot guys good info to know. Im so excited about the baby & the seats!!

I wouldnt buy them from Lancershop because they sell them at sears.com- I would rather just send them to the store & pick them up. Plus sears will almost always will back up any problems-I use to work there.

Thats some good advise-plus the laws are almost always changing here in Cali. So todays its one seat tomorrow its another.

i bought the como infant seat acouple of months ago.very nice seat.the seat sits up really high rear facing and block alot of your vision.i havent had a chance to front face the seat in the evo yet,but in my moms malibu front facing the seat is perfect.even loading my daughter in and out of the seat is alot easier.when the seat is rear facing the car seat is just a pain.the seat sits up really high, its hard get your child in and out of the seat.front facing awesome though.the only complaint is that the harness belts get twisted really easy.very very head supportive seat, very well padded also.the seat fits my daughter like a glove.my daughter is 14mos. old.the seat also like really huge when its in the evo.

They're Recaro Young Style seats for children 30-80lbs, so they cost quite a bit less than the baby seats:

I have the Young sport for my 2 yr old. He loves it. He always wants to ride in my car as opposed to my wifes car that has a graco seat. I didnt have one of the smaller baby seats, but I think that you would have to wait for at least 6 months. You have to have an infant seat at first.

I have the young sport for my 2 year old, he has had it since he was 1, alittle over 21 pounds and it is great. the sides serve as a head rest when he sleeps. I drove from NJ to michigan with him (800)miles and he had no complaints, he slept very comfy through the whole night.
