I am assuming you used an open-end wrench. To prevent stripping brake line fittings in the future make sure to use a flare nut or line wrench. Everyone who is messing with brake lines should have one of these. Just a little tip to help prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Yep, that's a flare nut wrench. Make sure you get one that is 10mm. I used one and it didn't work on two of the four brake lines. Two were so damn stuck that I needed PB Blaster and locking pliers to break the seal.
