EVO performs different each time...

Sometimes she feels a lttle pokey, and other times feels fast as hell..

I don't get it.. [/B]
Maybe you need the Grounding kit... or maybe the difference is in weight or Outside temperature.

The C4S is down about 120hp from my car.

We both exited I-95 at Exit 5 in Greenwich, CT. If you're out there . . . I gave you the thumbs up!

You were probably playing around with Big al. His Evo puts out more horsepower then your porshe. So maybe thats why he could hang. With what he got now in his car, he might be able to beat you.

The August Kiplinger's has an Evo write-up (page 120) and it says that the Evo is aimed at married men in their late 30's to early 50's. No manufacturer targets a $30000 car to the "young-mid 20 yr old" crowd. That's who the SRT Neon is for.

And the 996 is purely a 40+, businessman "I want my Porsche cuz I can't afford a Ferrari" type person.

Personally a really weird comparison....especially in SCC of all places. Hello Sport Compact.........theres nothing sport or compact with 3 of those cars.
what in the hell are you talking about...? M3 and S4 targeted to 20 somethings...? you're outta your gourd...

Oh, and if you live where i live(Newport Beach) you would agree with the statement that M3s are geared toward a younger crowd. I know like 5 guys, all under the age of 20 that drive e46 M3s.

That's what Mitsubishi's telling investors, but its not what they're telling customers. Take a look at the Evo brochure that the Mitsubishi dealers hand out to prospectives. It was written to appeal to 14 year olds. Anyone with a college education would be unable to buy the car after reading that brouchure.

Any hi-po car is gonna feel that way...depends on your mood...and whether you've been driving the wife's grocery getter all day.

Big thanks and congrats to Vishnu for providing SCC with another incredible car - there is a full page blurb after the evo vs. 911 article. I love seeing what just a little extra cash can do when spent on the evo and wrx.
