EVO performs different each time...
Sometimes she feels a lttle pokey, and other times feels fast as hell..
I don't get it.. [/B]

I won't say I was ever at risk of losing, but I was *hugely* surprised at how well he could hang. I can't his brakes were as good; thought sure I'd get run over when slowing for traffic! The C4S is down about 120hp from my car.
We both exited I-95 at Exit 5 in Greenwich, CT. If you're out there . . . I gave you the thumbs up!

You were probably playing around with Big al. His Evo puts out more horsepower then your porshe. So maybe thats why he could hang. With what he got now in his car, he might be able to beat you.

And the 996 is purely a 40+, businessman "I want my Porsche cuz I can't afford a Ferrari" type person.
Personally a really weird comparison....especially in SCC of all places. Hello Sport Compact.........theres nothing sport or compact with 3 of those cars.

Oh, and if you live where i live(Newport Beach) you would agree with the statement that M3s are geared toward a younger crowd. I know like 5 guys, all under the age of 20 that drive e46 M3s.

Big thanks and congrats to Vishnu for providing SCC with another incredible car - there is a full page blurb after the evo vs. 911 article. I love seeing what just a little extra cash can do when spent on the evo and wrx.
