Innovative lc-1 problems
So today i was trying to connect the cable to my laptop w/a serial to usb adapter and my laptop couldn't recognize it. Did this all before i connected it to the lc-1. I tried my tactix cable to see if something was up w/the usb ports but it read my ecu just fine. Any clues? The adapter i got was one from Bestbuy since i read on here the Radioshack one isn't too great. I'm stumped.

Yes it does.......
If its the dynex cable from best buy the disk is in between the cardboard in the package. You have to pull it apart, I thought the same thing but then pulled the package completely apart and found it.
Or you can just go to the dynex website and DL the driver...... but if you bought it brand new from best buy you have the disk.

Bump. Found the disc, got everything loaded up. I kept getting this error when i tried to connect the com port here's what it said:
No real time data detected. Check serial port and connection. Note, you must use 'Download lm-1 log from the file menu' instead of a real time operation in 9v battery mode
It connected once, after that i tried it again, and got the same error. I'm stumped. Any suggestions on brands? I'm thinking on ordering the one from newegg that Evol.ved mentioned. Any help?
