...but seriously it was extremely wierd. me and my friend were installing an aftermarket perrin dp in his VIII..the aftermarket dp was up in the right spot but we were taking it out of the spot and when we did it bumped into an metal oil tube. When it did it emitted sparks like when you torch cut something. the sparks lasted about 3 seconds before we pulled it away, we looked up in there and the oil tube had a hole in it and there were scorch marks around it...we were layin on the concrete and the car was off with the battery disconected, i dont think it was friction and that was the only place the dp was touching the car....does anyone no what this could have been
by the way, it wasnt sparks like u get when u scrape metal on metal it was same sound as torch cutting and same effect

even though this probably wouldn't matter now, you are supposed to take the negative off first. if anyone knows, its for safety reasons. you can create a bigger arc taking the positive off than taking the negative off and you can also blow your fuses taking positive off first. just letting u know.
the thing with the arc is that whenever any battery is charged (manually or by alternator), it creates gases, and those gases can ignite. so taking off the positive first should be a real concern.
but anyways, i'd like to see some magic too, but not in the oil return line from the turbo.
