Insurance an Evo will be WAY more expensive than an RSX Type-S. But even if you register it under your dad's name, that won't matter.

yeah where i live its more, but im 17 clean record, good student... all that good stuff. i got quotes from places here in AK

06 STI - 300/month full coverage/me as primary driver
06 STI - 150/month full coverage/parent as primary driver

06 EVO MR - 320/month full coverage/me as primary driver
06 EVO MR - 160/month full coverage/paretn as primary

these prices are really skewed because we have already looked and insurance prices in North Carolina are just about halfprice

Well, rates vary drastically from state to state. That's nothing new. California, Michigan, New York and Florida tend to be among the higher rates in the country from what I remember.

tough to say. when i was 19 and i had my evo 8 i was paying about 1400 every 6mo, so about 233 a mo. I also had a clean record, but I also have the girl card insurance (state farm)

Sort of. I believe the '03 (and maybe '04) Evos were rated as 23h, while the '05 and '06 Evos were rated as 26h, which obviously costs more.

Just got quoted on 2 Evo's:

2006 MR - $1117/6 month Premium
2006 SE - $633/6 month Premium

I like the MR better, its Dark Charcoal, with 40,8xx Miles on it, for $21,995.....

^ Working in insurance, I find it odd that the SE and MR are that different in insurance premiums...

My 03 GSR is running $125/mo, Geico, full coverage, 27 years old, clean record, $1k deductibles. Neighbor has the same car, same year, and pays $50/mo less than me because my credit sucks.
