Not unless she is in a harness and wearing a helmet.

Roll cage + street car + accident= head into steel bar

if you hit your head in the accident to the roll bar ,you got problems already... I do not share that opinion at all. I think who ever dreamed that up, those never had a roll cage or the only the poor designed one....
I wanna see that picture when somebody got in the accident and a rollcage cause more injury then good... of course without helmet. /since that is the subject/
Why we dont use helmet against the airbag? That is give you a real injury , but still we want it . Because it saves life. And we know that can kill people from fact.

yes that is righ. and the rollcage is suppose to far away from your head .it is like you hitting to the upper corner in the car with you head.. the roll cage is not even 3"... So if your head is get there then that 3" will not count that much. Because probably without the cage ,the roof or the the top of the door part would come in anyway, since you gotto get the impact from there.
so you waaay better off with rollcage without helmet ,then without rollcage.

OK here is a picture of an actual roll cage. The bar that runs by the drivers head and down the a pillar is not safe when not properly secured in a racing seat and wearing a helmet.I would not want to be in a caged car rolling after being t-boned on the street period. This is my .02, take it or leave it.

get a picture pls from the front if you can.
"The bar that runs by the drivers head and down the a pillar "
from here that is right. But that part should run behind the seat. I can see that is a custom cage though.
Looks to me the roof bar running directly over the driver head? HUH....

Here is a shot from the side, It's the best I can do.

These shots are of Alex G(Bimmubishi) on here EVO 2. The cage is a custom cages setup that DSG did some modifications too. Really nice set up IMO, But I still would'nt rock it on the street every day.

by the way the porsche RS coming from factory with full rollcage. Not with roll bar!
here it is:

or custom ones:

or

or

if you take a look ,all of them the roof bat etc going behind the seats. I prefer these ones. But if you take a look on your picture ,without the roll cage the roof would be coming in that far ,dont you agree? And from there wont matter what you hit, right? So i still would be safer with roll cage then without, even with no helmet.
But maybe just me.

Ok Here is a video thaty illustrastes how important a good cage is for a track car and how violent car crashes are. If this crash or a similar one happened on the street you can see how violently the head shakes around. Scary stuff.

yes and just proove my point . without roll cage that roof would be deep into the car. So you f$#cked either way. you still have more chance to survive with rollcage, since at least keeps the roof in place, You are going to bang your head when the roof in place . Not like the roof is coming in, and your head heading up at a same time... What would you hit better ? something is stays or something is coming? and for the distance for head room, many sportscar have less head room the begin with, then our evos with rollcage. Also any accident is violent with or withouth roll cage , if you roll over.
