"Evo haters"
#136
I only get some odd looks & questions about the silly wing (on wich my comment is that it is indeed perhaps a bit overdone but very effective when doing between 200 & 270km/hour on the autobahn ) over here and the occasional "hey is that a Subaru?" There are only about 200 EVO's ranging from III's to IX's here in the Netherlands.
I can also pretty certainly say that most drivers over here in Europe know what an EVO is and what it can do. (probably mostly due to it's performance on BBC's Top Gear) Only a few lost yuppies driving Audi TT's, VW GTI's, R32's or an 18 year old in a civic, are stupid enough to challenge an EVO at the traffic light or trying to keep up with it in corners.
Between EVO's and the almost as rare WRX it's always the friendly thumbs up and friendly chatter at the gaspump.
The rest of the comments i get are nothing but positive.
Life is easy for a EVO driver in Europe
