ok so I should drive it more for several cycles.

so the mechanical fix on the buschur exhaust won't return a "not ready" signal everytime. from my research an electrical fix will give a "not ready" every time, the mechanical fix should not.

this is strange, I just recently got inspected, I had a dead rear o2 but it still indicated that it was in ready state. Just cleared it drove it for 20 miles to trip it, then passed with no problems whatsoever. btw I also have a test pipe

I can tell you what will work, just passed obd2 here in my state.
hiflow cat with o2 sensor extender.
it would throw a cel without the extender.
if you drive around for an hour or two that should enable the tests within the ecu.

can't help you with an answer if you are trying the test with a test pipe

as a last resort my state allows a "pass" if you can show you have spent $150 towards fixing the problem by a certified emissions person. Of course he might frown on a test pipe.

I am going to drive the car through a whole tank of gas, then go to auto zone to get it scanned if "ready" i will head straight to inspection.
