throwout bearing issue...venting....help :/

So...basicly I had my clutch replaced 7k miles ago and flywheel replaced by some guy who didn't know wtf he was doing. I took the car to road race engineering and they fixed it. They told me several bolts were missing and or loose...so they tightened everything up and I was refunded by the jackass who originaly botched the job.

So right from day one I noticed a faint metal rubbing noise and I asked dr. Grey...he said "don't worry about it...it sounds like trash is rubbing or something under your car" so come today the sound is getting louder and louder....and it only happends at early engagement...when I am 60% throttle or greater the sound disapears...and when I let off of the gas it comes back...

So I took my car to a local mechanic..he said its the throwout bearing...road race said 600$ to replace the throwout bearing...parts and labor...

So basicly I'm really pissed off...I don't want to take the whollle clutch out again and go through this again! I havnt even launched my car since I replaced the clutch becuase I don't want to pay 1200+ $$ again! If this throwout bearing issue isn't something I should totaly stress about...I'm going to leave it alone.....i

Your advice is appreciated guys!

i bought a brand new one when i replaced my clutch.........that was recommended to me by the evo shops out here. no sound or problems at all.

i would say to get it replaced.....you can buy one for like 2-300 i think. labor shouldnt be much but do it yourself and you spend half the price............just my 2 cents though

What was the problem that RRE fixed initially besides replacing the missing bolts? What clutch did you put in?

YOu should have done the work your self. It's not that difficult straight up mechanical work. The bolts come off one way and have to go back on the same way.
That sux. I hate taking cars in general to get worked on unless it's really technical like electronics.

Sorry about some douche bag messing up your ride. Better luck next time.

Ok but in order for me to change the throwout bearing I need to take out everything needed to do a full clutch install right? There's no other way to get to it without the clutch labor process?

No, there is no other way. One piece of advice I always give to people when they ask me about buying a DSM/Evo... make sure you have a 2 post lift and a lot of tools!
