Best Motoring:"The EVO Strikes Back" is out

The BMI dvd vol 7 is out with extensive coverage of the EVO.
The driver of the Puma EVO says that it has both super AYC
and ACD. In fact, they compare it to a rally EVO with the AYC
removed and the drivers say that the super AYC really helps
the handling.

Comments?

Yeah I have it. It's alright but I think they cut some Evo parts out from the original Japanese version. Like the comparison between the Evo 7 and 8 on a wet uphill climb. Or maybe they're separate videos...

UPS is scheduled to deliver my BMI DVD today. Is there much background Evo info on the DVD? How about Evo 8 design/features info (like how they did with the 350z) a while back?

Anything else cool on this particular DVD?

I doubt they will be going in depth on this DVD as like what they did to the "NEW" Z. The Evo 8 is the second gen of the CT9 chassis and if BM came out with a DVD 2-3 years ago when the Evo 7 was just coming out, then they will be covering every single detail on the new Evo (have this on VCD Japanese version). On the other hand, I'm sure they'll be going over how the "NEW" Super AYC has improved from the last. I also think they will be showing the comparison of the 5 speed gearbox vs. the 6 speed that comes on the new JDM Evo 8.

Even though I have the Japanese BM version since last april, I'm still going to buy this DVD because they included the Touge battle from Hot Version(another BM racing video product) normally features these types of races. . It's fun to watch the Touge showdown (mountain race ala Initial D). Watch that little Hachi Rouku(AE86 Corolla) tear the mountain up.
