I was cleaning out my storage and came across my stock MR DV and I was wondering if the Forge DV I have has any signifigant advantage over the stock MR DV?

Also I was wondering if the Forge DV has changed since the release of the new ones. I heard that the new ones sound different (more like a BOV).... Not like I care about the noise because I dont I care about the perfomance of the car and the performance of the DV and which one will perform better or not.

 

its ment to hold more boost than stock ones.. but you will only be able to see a difference when you pass 25psi..

 

I didnt buy the DV it was on when I got the car from a friend. I have heard that there are different springs that you can put in the DV.

Is this true and if so what does each do and where can I get em?

 

since your signature says you run 21 psi it doesnt matter you can put the stock bov on and see if you like it it will hold boost just as well and yes there are 3 diffrent springs that come with the forge bov a red one yellow one and some other color i dont remember

 

I know it doesnt matter just dont feel like messing with it and I work way to much to rip the car apart. If there was a signifigant difference then maybe I would try to change it up.

I spike at 26 and hold 21.
