Lame but curious...MPG Evo VII
I am curious what people are getting for MPG in their EVO's. I'm not really interested in the time you watched you fuel guage drop in real time.
What are people that are commuting getting.

First tank 22mpg, last tank 24.5mpg. I bet I can get 26mpg in combined city & highway driving soon. I've always been able to get good mileage out of my modified 97 Talon TSi AWD, so I expect to do the same with the Evo.

Got 6000 miles on the EVO8 so far.
Last 2 tanks I have gotten 23 mpg all suburban commuting. Easily get 240 to a tank every tank, got about 260 on this tank so far and still no "low fuel" light yet. And NO I DONT drive like a grandma.
Generally I get 20 to maybe 24mpg in my daily commuting. Some of it is highway (20-30%?), but were talking rush hour highway stuff, stop and go not droning. Rest is suburban 40 mph roads and stuff.
On highway trips I get about 24mpg when I do about 80mph-85mph. When I go slower (65-70) looks like it can do about 26 maybe a tick higher, close to what the window sticker said.
I am very happy with the city mileage - 20 to 24 is quite nice, but I am fairly dissapointed with the highway fuel efficiency at like 80mph, the car needs an overdrive 6th gear. Mitsu should leave the other 5 gear rations the same, and add a 6th to drop the rpms about 400 or so on the highway at 80mph. that would put it at about 3000, right at the edge of boosting instead of deep into it like it is now...
