i have two trunks one with and one without. i shaved the holes andd painted the other apex silver.

It sucks that cops pick on people with wings... i would think they would be looking for the exhaust / tires first.. Personal opinion is that it looks better with the wing. But if you are going for the sleeper look, i see how taking it off makes more sense.

 

Ive been wingless for about 2 months now and love it. My exhaust is loud tho, so they kinda look twice, unless im in 3rd or 4th.

 

I seen a guy this weekend that put a lancer wing on his 8, was running 11's at the track we all thought it was a lancer till we seen him on his second run. Removing the wing does take away some attention but why pay for it if your just going to take it off, just my opinion.

I think they look better without the wing too. The wing is to tall.

 

i agree with ^ that guy, it was a pain to see what was behind me if it was a cop of something, i hae had mine off for 3 mounths an its soooo much better i never get looked at twice, unless they hear my exhaust
