Hey atleast we have the option of removing it and putting it back on as needed. Not like an RS. they pretty much have one option unless they spend some money and find a winged trunk. Me I like it both ways. (As in the wings.) Lol

I had mine off for a while while it was being refinished. It needs to be refinished again, so it will be coming off soon. I will say that at night the wing does provide some shade from other driver's headlights coming through the rear windows. To me, my car looks neutered without the wing, and I drive like a grandpa so no attention from cops. Besides, the DA is my buddy so I take my tickets to him and buy the cop some coffee. If you're nice to them, they're nice to you. Simple.

I had my wing off for 2 days while I re-cleared my spoiler. My car looked naked without it. But I would imagine that removing it would get you a lot less attention.

Removing my wing has definitely helped shy the cops away. I replaced mine with a Rexspeed type 2 CF spoiler....classy and clean look and fills the holes nicely. Bolts right up to stock location. I've gotten a lot of nice comments on it

Maybe it already said in one of the previous 40+ pages, but what are you using to cover the holes? Id like to pull mine off for the winter, plus I have a broken bolt in one of the holes.
Edit: Ive already read about the pep-boys/Home Depot rubber plugs, just curious if anyone has a cleaner solution that's not permanent.

Funny to have come across this thread, whereas I met a cop going 4 over yesterday and he stared then proceeded to tap his brakes. I was thinking to myself last night... perhaps the wing is whats drawing the attention. On top of that mine is a 05 RR! Probably gonna pull it off.

I am using some vinyl sticker to cover up my holes.
