stock is much better...but if you wanna think a different way, if they are both the same price the Evo thats already got mods in it just think you are saving money because it already has what your gonna put in it lol BUT you are taking a chance.

if u know how to work on cars isn't doesn't matter which one u buy.

if u DON'T know how to work on cars, buy the stock one...

stock...unless you can find somebody that built it with exactly the parts you would put and drove it just the way you would...

Personally I think stock would be your best bet.

def a stocker and then build it my way. i would never buy a modded evo unless i knew the person and how they treated the car.

so i took my mechanic friend to check out the car again and he did a compression test and everything turned out ok on the modded one. 32k miles for $17,000 is a bit hard for me to turn down

the reason why i asked this question was about its an evo. most likely its already been abused, but there is that slight chance that it hasn't. i somewhat abused mine, but yeah, its a hard deal to pass up...

Hey guys I need a little help...I want to get some cams for my evo and some friends have told me to go with different brands and I need some suggestions...I have a stock turbo with manifold, turbo back exhaust, ic pipes and intercooler....now some friends are telling me go with hks, and others with GSC and others with buddy club.....and then some are telling me go with 272/272 and others 280/280....any suggestions???

yall dudes are so funny..like the other poster said..alot of these cars are turned back to stock..so would you rather have a false sense of security?....or really know what was put on/done to the car?....when i sold mines i didnt have my stock exhaust and couldnt source one but i was **** out of luck..but they gave me 17500 for a 69k car with no reverse/rear quarter panel rust damage..not bad i must say
