I am a heavy equipment mechanic for the City Of Denver so your "its not rocket science" doesnt apply here . the light worked before the tint because it would reflect into the car when the brakes were applied it stopped working after it was tinted. so your idea of "rocket science" is nothing to me the bulb is fine and its getting voltage so leave your smart *** comments out of here if you have nothing to say that is helpful . he posted the thread i thought it was weird 2 cars are having the same problem so i posted in the thread.
I feel extremely sorry for the City of Denver right now. I am amazed that after suggesting "replace the bulb" everyone else chimed in with "yeah, same thing happened to mine after tint.. I replaced the bulb and it was fine."
But in your case, maybe your car does have some type of nasty wiring gremlin going on in it. After this cute post of yours, I am surprised it even runs.
Its not rocket science... replace the bulb.
