Short Shifters

https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...3372f3454bfceb are those both base & underhood bushings or no? how much peices are both base & underhood bushings? isn't polyurethane bushings the best? lmk wen u guys get the chance, thx. i'm planning on getting the buscher racing short shifter & base/underhood bushings.
there are 6 bushings in total. two under the hood and four at the base of the shifter. those are just for the two under the hood.
i have poly bushings in the base, and buschur racing aluminum ones under the hood. they both work fine. but i don't know that you could say neccesarily that metal is better than poly or vice versa.
the BR bushings are a nice product, and reasonably priced. the e clamps can be a little tricky to get on, but with some needle nosed pliers to push on them, they go right on.

The brass base shifter are good not under the hood though. They tend to lock out because they need to warm-up in order for them to function properly. I have tested both brass under hood and poly urethane bushings. I can tell you the poly urethane works better under the hood bushings especially in cold weather. Just my 2 Cents!

poly is plastic and sumtimes tend to break though or no? another question - are these metal bushings compatible with the 9's too? or are they different from the 8's? http://lancershop.com/customer/produ...3&cat=6&page=1 i'll probably go with metal base and under hood, unless the poly r really better for under the hood ones.. still debating on which ss to get- kartboy, b&m, or the buschur one, hmmm...
