Service Engine Light!

Hello everyone, car is acting out with some strange behavior.

06 Evo 9 MR

1) The Temp clock is going nuts up and down! 2) When you flore the car, at about 6K RPM's it stalls out ,like it just wont get pass 6K, could this be do to the new ecu re-flask? 3) The codes im getting are ( 0300 and 0401 )

Will greatly appreciate any help and thanks for taking your time to share your exp on this matter....

my car is doing the same thing. it takes a long time to hit full boost when i floor the gas pedal in 4th and 5th gear. the car was running extremely well until i had a mechanic put the egr valve in (which i was previously missing). ever since then, the car feels real sluggish and basically has no pull throughout the rpms. feels like no turbo and it takes like 5 secs to spool up to 10 lbs of boost. would i be able to just completely take out the egr and run the car with the check engine light on?

take it ot the stealership and get it checked out. Hope ure warranty covers it.

wow, car is really running bad right now, it stalls in every gear if you flore it past 3.5k rpms, it burned's a misture of smoke dark grayish but only if you flore it, dealer will not even take a look at the car with all the aftermarket parts. car runs very smooth if you dont flore it but anything over lets say 10 psi and the stalling begins......Im starting to think it might be the fuel pump, but then again, I only put 93 octane since d1......................... Gona take it to TAV Racing in Miami Florida and see what they can find.

Woots, lol found a major part of the problem, Upper intercooler pipe was loose. After getting taht fix the car ride a hole lot better but still getting the upper boots problem. Im getting boost pikes of 1.5+ bars at 5800+ RPM's. Also, still cant find whats the problem with the Temp clock going nuts, [not the top gauge temp] the battom one next to the Boost gauge.

Had any of you had any problems with this gauge malt funtioning?
