I would say I would like to be in the low to mid 11's, just enough to never get bored and I am @ 343 whp now and it's fast but another 75 to 100 whp would be outstanding maintaing the driveability first and foremost.

The main draw backs in having a high horsepower DD Evo are mainly clutches, injectors, and cams.
Once you climb up the horsepower ladder these three have to be up to the task ( ie. Bigger and beefier). The other side of the coin would be them making the car almost uncomfortable to be a DD.
I think you can DD a 9 second Evo. BUT, you will get tired eventually because your left leg muscles hurt, the car is too loud, and you have to check for any problems frequently just in case something happens. Suddenly, your automatic Corolla will be loved and cherished all over again.

i was aiming for around 350awhp. then i realized that being this close to it without cams is too simple. so im pucshing for 370-400awhp with a 10.5hotside or 20g (whichever comes first).

I'll never understand why guys with Evo's, STi's, wrx,etc are only concerned with drag racing...FTL! AWD..use all four of those wheels for its intended purpose. Purpose built cars used for drag racing? I don't think Mitsu had straight lines in mind when they started selling their rally car in streetable form to the public or Subaru either. Get a Mustang or something along the same lame production car line to drag race.
"road racing, rally, auto-x is for fast drivers.....drag racing is for fast cars" Seriously.

Along the same note... I love my car and yes they are fast in a straight line...but then again, where is the fun in that? Getting a three wheel around the track spanking guys from having a fast awd car and a guy who knows how to turn his steering wheel is much more fun! Not a drag race hater...but there is no driver skill in it which is the opposite of what I am attracted to. carry on.
