completely agree... K.I.S.S RULEZ!!

plus, I am a freakin cheapskate - I wouldn't have cracked my wallet for an EVO that cost more!!

Our current EVO is about perfect. The only thing I kinda wish it did come with would be a overdriven 6 th gear in the tranny for highway droning, but even then I bet Mitsu would have screwed that up like Subaru did on the STi and messed with the bottom 5 gear ratios - which would have been a waste and a shame... they are perfect in the EVO!! I'll just plan to replace the 5speed with a custom ratio'd 6 speed on my own at some point in the future

And mitsu may not sell as many cars as Honda but don't you think you should be thinking about trading in your RSX for a SRT4... and i would like to see a honda run mid to low 13's with less then 5K in upgrades, and dont say nitrous cause I will have take your car and then your girl...

GOD I HATE DUMBASSES!!
The Lancer is not a stripped down Evo - the Evo is a very highly modified Lancer.

Cruise control, damn it. Why didn't it come with cruise control.

Anyways, all of us here know that the Evo is more than a supped up econo box but that seems to be the popular perception of our cars. My boss always calls my evo an escort with a wing. I try to lay out all the reasons to non believers for why the Evo is not just a lancer with a turbo but most people just play it off as an overpriced econo car.

considering the two cars share almost nothing (a few body panels, doors, roof, trunk) and nothing else, I wouldn't call them related at all... I wouldn't even consider those similar consider the amount of extra welds put into them to strengthen them.

That was my point...
