i got mine last year brand new out of the dealer. 0 miles. but its still an 06.
Its an EVO none the less.

as of january 1st 2007, all vehicles in the good ol' USA must contain side impact airbags..... so mitsu figured instead of adding the bags for the last remaining year of the IX's life, they would just pull the IX out of the US, and wait until the 08' EVO X


so the only year for the evo IX is 06'

No official 2007 models in the US. Mitsu produced enough 2006 models to be able to sell them in 2006 and through 2007.

As vipers said above, the reason they didn't produce an official 2007 model came from additional safety requirements on all 2007 models. Since Mitsu didn't want to invest more money in the outgoing Evo, they just left it as a 2006 model.

Didn't know that all 07' model cars must have side impact bags. Funny how a year or 2 ago only the highend luxury cars had that feature.
