40k blues :(
#16
Mine is about 42k, i am not blue, i love the car and drive it, i do not see a reason to have a car and just look at the thing, it is ment to be driven. Also my calipers are all starting to peal, need to go and get them addressed.

05 VIII 60+ K buying all my maintenance parts, upgrading turbo, exhaust, all the good stuff and do not regret one minute nor mile. I enjoying driving my car, can't see myself driving anything else. BTW, I have a bud with an 05 same model and only has 8k on it. He's never waxed it, still looks new. To each is own.

I think millage is seriously over rated. As long as you take care of her, she'll return the favor. Keep up the maintenance, don't skimp on any of it or use cheap parts or fluids and you'll be fine. As for break calipers pealing, do you use break cleaner to clean them down on occasion? If so, you may want to make sure the break cleaner you're using isn't too abrasive on the finish; it may be what's causing it to chip faster than usual. IX's aren't really supposed to have chipping problems. They upgraded the coat on the calipers and the spoiler over the VIII for that reason.
