Can we sticky something I see more and more of these threads everyday now and since the VIII's and IX's will be getting older this will come up alot. This issues will effect every car differently but it will always be related to a dash/Cluster function including Wipers, horn, headlights, parking lights, dashboard lights, ignition (car wont shut off) etc

I am having the same problem right now. Its been raining for the last two days and I have the wipers not wanting to turn off, and the horn started going off in the middle of the day yesterday for no reason. water somewhere in the wiring. I need to find it asap on Saturday(next day off)

Not completely sure if its related, but my friend has had problems with his wipers, horn, but more importantly his airbag. He is the kind of person that just doesnt care too much, and hates the dealership. Eventually i conviced him to get it checked. It turned out to be a part called the clock spring. That took care of all his problems.

haha thats funny as hell, but it does suck. My buddy got wasted one night and beat the hell out of his steering wheel in his old honda element, and from that time on, you could hold the steering wheel in a particular spot (like when holding it in the normal "10 o'clock" spot) and if you squeezed it, the horn would go off...WEIRD...he ended up taking it to the dealership and they fixed it. I have no idea what it would be lol...I hope you get it fixed because I know that it is annoying, and you are definately pretty upset about it
