Congrats on the car.. but honestly, I wouldn't have done it. If the Evo's are that hard to find, I would have just gone a completely different route all together. Maybe even pick up a used Silvi... I mean 240sx and drop some money in it to clean it up and add power. It would have come to a closing cost of a lot less than that and just as fun in a different way. But hey, that's just me. For you though, if you really wanted the Evo that badly and you can afford it... CONGRATS

As for rarity, I am pretty sure -as in I could be wrong- that the rarest Evo in the states right now is the last 'batch of 06 IX MR's' They were intended to be the 07 MR's before the US highway regulations mandated an upgrade of saftey features including side impact airbags. They're known as the IX MR SE's.

Last July I paid 26K out the door (literally everything included) for my IX RS and the car had 5500 miles on the odometer.

Pricing depends on the region and other factors, so don't feel too bad.

Your fine dude! The car is worth every penny. I don't understand the going back and fourth on a couple of plus or minus hundred dollars. I would rather be driving a car I want day in and day out. You got a good investment and it has potentials. Welcome to the Dark side!

nah, with tax and tags.. not too much.

Price is directly related to supply/demand. The supply is low, the demand is high. You do the math.

The price you paid is water under the bridge. I feel I overpaided for mine but I don't care, it pays itself back everytime I see someone breakin their neck to take a look. Just enjoy the ride!
