Looking at getting my windows tinted!Might you help me by answering the following questions:
1. What you paid?
2. What tint you recommend?

4. Anything that might help me or others who are considering this.
Thanks so much!

i got 20% all around, but depends on your state laws....Mines illegal
something like sunglo or similar to that i forgot it's been awhile..( matches factory tinted windows)...
if you are going to get dark windows be prepared to get harassed by cops....and a phat ticket

1. $120
2. 35% on the front doors, 20% for the back doors and rear window and across the top 6 inches of the windshield.
3. Llumar.
4. Avoid tints that have a high level of metal in them, especially if you plan on running a radar detector or if you've got a garage door remote opener inside the car.

1. 160
2. I like limo 6% so people arent looking for stuff to steal in my car.. but most get 15%.. Legal is usually 25-30% in most states. I dont know if you like following rules =-)
3. I think Llumar or Sunar ... not sure, i went to a reputable place locally
4. I like the strip across the front windshield, saves me from wearing sunglasses in the car, I always ask them to make it a little lower, just a couple inchs above my eye level so when its really sunny i just sit up a little straighter =-)
Don't go cheap if youre keeping the car for more than 2 years, cheap tint will turn purple.
Make sure they offer a warranty again peeling and bubbling, i usually keep my cars for 3-4 years so i make sure it has a lifetime warranty, some places only offer a 1 year.
Cheers!

2. Just find a reputable dealer locally, my favorite is Formula One though, and they're Lifetime warranty is so good they put a little F1 sticker on the inside of the doorsill so that if you sell the car the next owner still has the warranty info
3. Formula One Pinnacle (their best tint, in terms of heat rejection, uv blocking and glare reduction). And always always get ceramic based, you don't drive a Civic. 50% front (state law) 35% rear (any darker and the auto dim rear mirror makes it impossible to see out the rear)
4. Find a reputable dealer. You know, the one that has 3 M5s, a Bentley, and a Lambo sitting in their climate controlled garage Okay, so that's shooting high, but take a look at the shop and talk/ask around to figure out who does or probably does the best job. Also, as with anything to do with cars, a shop that has worked on Evos (etc) before is always nice.

2. 20%
3. 3m
4. 3m since it doesnt fad, and turn that funky purple
mines illegal but 20% vs 30% isnt that much more noticeable at a glance, but it noticeable from the inside
