me but when the engine's hot then you're reading would be off because not all the oil has settled down to the pan right??

Let it sit about 2 hours before checking your oil.

CAPACITIES:
Engine, with filter..........5.7 quarts
Cooling System, Turbocharged Initial Fill..........6.4 quarts
Manual Transmission, 5 SPD - W5M51..........4.7 pints
Manual Transmission, 6 SPD - W6MAA..........6 pints
Differential, Rear..........1.1 pints
Transfer Case, ..........1.3 pints

I use 5.5 QT in the motor and .2 in the filter. You guys may need a little bit more oil!
