This is unbelievable this happened to you. Where in CT did this happen I am blown away with your whole experience.
BTW if you put an ix bumper on your car you can slightly modify the beam to keep it on the car. I had it done and its worth it for small accidents like this.

You can do with the money as you see fit. They (insurance or kid) cuts you a check. What you do with it is up to you.

I've been trying to get a little tap on my rear for 2 years now so i can get a JDM rear....
you suck....

Same here. I even drive around the old folks areas, trying to get a little bump.
They'll cut you a check and it's yours to do what ever floats your boat.
