Evo IX MR 2006 Slugish...?

i have a evo IX mr its a 2006 i have a top fuel cat back with a turbo xs down pipe and a bov thats about it to the motor i have started to notice it has been getting slower and slower my high way is horrible 3rd gear pulls like its 6th gear going 30 idk whats wrong i dont have a tune or anything when i first put on the DP it was really fast now its just slow i have over boosted twice and havent been driving cause im waiting on my intake and fuel pump then a tune but do u guys think it will all change with a tune ?

AHH BOV! Take it off! Take it off!

Lack of tune is the problem. ECU could be cutting timing or you could be getting used to the power. How have you been over boosting without some sort of boost controller?

ya i dont have a boost controler i over boosted in 3rd and 5th gear ... and im not getting use to it i raced my buddys sti its stage 2 also and i kicked his a$$ now he pulls from me ...... the bov just affects my ideal my car ideals at like 500rpms lol i also have a really weird sound at ideal its a squeaking sound kinda sounds like a loose belt or pulley..?

reset the battery maybe bad gas other than that get your car to a tuner

i reset the battery and when i restarted my car it reved up to like 5000rpms it was weird

Definitely change back to stock to see if that is the issue the HKS has been known to cause many problems with Evos

k ill change it back im getting my ingen intake with the piping installed tomorrow so ill tell them to put the stock one back on

The stock one works great. And it doesn't make all those ridiculous noises.

The problem with the Evo is you get used to it and it feels slow. That's why so many Evo's get modified. Just keep buying speed parts like the rest of us and you will be ok.
