Greddy Type S BOV Questions
i just bought a Greddy Type S BOV off of ebay and i was wondering if the bov is supposed to come with two different springs (soft/stiff). the seller said he only has the spring that's installed in the bov and he was running 20 psi. would that spring also be capable of running 28-30 psi or would i need to buy a stiffer spring? if so, where can i buy one? i noticed that some people replaced the adjustment screw with a bigger bolt. will that be necessary if i'm running 28-30 psi? lastly, what size flange do i use to bolt it onto the Evo? thanks!

^^^ nice find. i go on that site a lot but i'd always overlook this particular 'how to' because i never thought i'd have this bov. will i still be able to run 28-30 psi on an Evo Green turbo if i do the single spring mod?

I have it on my car for 1 1/2 years now.
Holding 23psi just fine with no leak. At partial throttle the bov does leak a bit.
You can buy the universal greddy bov flange.
But I will just get the Tial for 30+psi application.

How can I pressure test my bov? Can I just perform a boost leak test and see if the bov holds 28-30 psi? If it does start to leak would it hold more boost if I installed a stiffer spring?
