now it idles way funny and sounds like a bird chirping near the valve cover and fuel injectors. this is a new sound now since insatllation of the pipe.

any ideas whats up? car seems to run normal besides idle now ( maf scaling is what i been told and now the bird chirp.

well it seems when you cover up the breather filter on the valve cover the sound goes away.

The engine will idle funny, if that's what you call it, if you install any aftermarket intake pipe. It changes the way the MAF reads incoming air. Get a tune. As for the bird chirp, I have no idea...stock diverter valve going off? I don't know.

I say tune it or put the stocker back in.
Tune the the way the MAF reads, then tune WOT.

seems to be when you cover teh breather filter the chirping goes away but when you take your hand off it it its there.
