New Problem...Need your help

So tonight i come home and i make a slow U turn in my parking lot at a very low speed, and i feel what seems to be the rear end wanting to lock up. So i do a few more u turns and same thing.
It seems like the rear wants to lock up but while i'm making the U turn in either direction one of the rear wheels breaks tread. I thought that maybe it was because the ground is a little wet so i take it down the street and make a U turn at a faster speed and no issue what so ever. It seems to only do it when i'm going slower speeds. Any Ideas?

Do you have redline shockproof 75-150 in your rear end?

well I brought my car to a buddy of mine and he is saying that its the T-Case. He said since I have an 03 it doesn't have LSD and my T-case is going and that's what's causing the problem in the rear end. Me not being to knowledgeable in the driverrain of the car, I have no clue. I thought it was the rear diff though.

it whines but only when in gear and decelerating. I don't see how it could be the t-case but i don't know. I'm still thinking its just the rear diff.

03 doesn't have LSD? All evo has LSD even your 03, the 03 just don't have ACD.

all evos have a lsd rear, some (rs and mr) have lsd in the front as well. early transfercases are viscous coupler units. later transfeercases are the acd units

is it like a real heavy click / binding??? have seen this before from rear diffs. removed rear diff, cleaned out all of old fluid with a solvent like brake clean, then refilled with fresh fluid

A thought..... real LSD normaly need a "LSD Addative" if the fluid was changed w/ generic offbrand gear lube w/ no addative can cause sticking in the diff>>>>
later

LSD's do that. Change out the fluid if it has not been done before.

I stand corrected, i meant I have no ACD since i have an 03. There is no cliking or binding noise. It just seems like when i turn, the rear end wants to lock up. only at a slow speed though.

03-04's do not have a front LSD. The only 04' that does is the RS. 05-06's all have front LSD's no matter the model...

Nevermind....I see we are talking about rears...lol
