Help From All Tuners

ok I have a slight light throttle miss fire like incident without it being a missfire. OK Ok I'll try and explain it starts at about 6o mph at about 2900 rpms I'll be cruising at slight throttle increase and then let off to maintain the current speed and then it happens. It almost feels like a miss fire but its not i have cheked and changed everything I could think of. I replaced the stock plastic BOV thinking it was like the same problem i had with my 1g talon. It felt like it was fluttering just slightly. It only happens at partial throttle and then letting off and then you can feel the fluttering. So could it be something in the tune or could it be mechanical just had shep rebuild the tranny because of a locked up fifth gear. Could it be wastegate or could both bovs been bad or what. I would appreciate any helpful advise. Thanks guys

I have the same problem... does it feel like hitting a wall and the car chirps several times if you don't let off?

Your MAF may be going out. Thats what it sounds like to me. At first it will start off as a studder/almost mis-fire and if it continues to get worse it'll get to the point where you can't get past 3k RPMS at all. It happened to me over a 100 miles away from my house and had to drive on the highway in Atlanta doing 60 (fastest I could go)... No one does 60 on the highways in Atlanta... I thought I was going to get killed.

What BOV did you replace it with? It sounds like the BOV.

I replaced it with a stock metal jdm bov. I have been off for a few days so i was up last night playing call of duty 4 and trying to figure out why my auto start alarm reset itself and i was trying to reprogram it.
