your rear o2 sensor goes from your cat underneath the car into a grommet right below the passenger seat

that is where I ran mine

in the car I snaked it under the carpet to the center dash and voila

I thought that was the one you had to tap into your exhaust manifold? i dont have one but want to get one.

Most people install them somewhere around the location of the stock cat, or where it was...

You might be thinking of an exhaust gas temp. gauge... these get installed in the mani.

a wideband o2 sensor is placed at the end of your downpipe about 30" away from your turbo in order to achieve an accurate reading

you are talking about an EGT sensor

well....see i have my test pipe which has a bung right now...i have my rear o2 sensor in there...and then i have another bung in my cat back...which is plugged now...so that would be a bad idea to put my o2 sensor back there?

I believe the UEGO directions say 36 inches away from the turbo is optimal

preferably you want to weld a bung in your downpipe (3" before the flange)
