Take that 50G and go out and buy a Cobra Roadster kit car also known as a MKIV. 50 grand should buy you a car that handles almost as well as an evo and has a power to weight ratio combatting formula 1 cars. Stock, the Shelby Cobra with a 427 was 425 horses. Combine that with a curb weight of around 2,000 lbs and you have a "stock" car that goes 0-60 in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 155. Now, update the suspension with some new trick stuff and you spent 50G on a car that is a blast to drive on the road or track! If you really want ***** to the walls, slap a twin turbo V-8 in it. Theres an easy 1,000 hp at like 20psi! Turns A LOT OF HEADS!

 

If I do sell the Evo; I've settled that the replacement should be a V8.

There's something about the exhause note of V8's that is so unique.

1. C6 Vette with the new LS3
2. Used low mileage C5 Z06
3. Shelby GT500
4. Used E55 (supercharged one)
5. Pontiac G8 (waiting to see the price for the higher HP version with 6-speed manual)

 

Used Z06 would be the only thing I would look for. But I happen to like the Evo and the room that I have with it

I spend the 50k on upgrades and a daily driver, maybe an old GC8 with an STi drivetrain?

Maybe a G38 coupe all done up.

I Asked What Would You Upgrade To, So Saying You Would Go For A Bare-empty Track-only Car Isn't A Good Choice.

 

I would go for a 2004 or 2005 E55 and do some subtle performance upgrades and have a benz running high 11's all day.. you would expect that to pull up next to you... lol

If I could take the.....lets say 25k for the EVO and add it to the 50k, I would see about getting ahold of a Nobel M12! God I wish I would have got one when I had the chance and the money before they took a HUGE price hike. I was looking at one when I was overseas making stupid untaxed money, and you could get into the car for about 50. Now you're looking around 80k
