steering problem

hey guys i just finished doing my big swap;
-Evo 9 steering column shaft,
-evo 9 steering wheel w/ airbag
-2 stage air bag gas generator from the RA airbag into the evo 9 airbag

and its now working in my car(in thoery should maintian my SRS system)

once i'm back in town next week i'll be gettin the car scanned to reset the airbags and see if it actually turns the SRS light off, as well i'll be re installing my cruise control lever

i'll get into details later if people wanna know...

BUT SMALL PROBLEM

now that i've swapped the evo shaft into my RA column sleeve the steering is kinda stiff

its not quite like strong arm steering but its not loose like my RA was...

the wheel also doesn't automatically return to the centered position and doesn't have the springy really easy to turn feel anymore

i'm going to pull the whole thing out and try it again next week, maybe i missed or did something wrong

suggestions and speculations welcome...

I think my evo 9 steering is pretty easy to steer with no effort and thats weird that your wheel doesn't automatically center.
