Well, I was wondering if anyone has tried to match up the buschur dp and hfc to the cobb catback? I've been looking to do this, I ran a search and didn't really find anything. I figured I'd post back to my original issue. Sorry if it's a newb question, I just don't want any fitness issues if I spent the money of the Cobb...for those who have the cobb, the buschur uses two 3/8ths bolts to connect to the catback (I believe that's the size, correct if I'm wrong.)

Question for the Cobb peoples, what size bolt are you using to connect your catback to your cat?

We have installed a lot of exhaust systems on market and IMHO, the Tanabe Medalion Touring, Greddy EVO2 and Fujitsubos RM01As are the most quiet exhaust systems on the market today. And believe me, our emission laws and the cops out here are the most **** of them all, and the owners of these exhaust systems never get harrassed because of its quietness.

Which one do you like better? The Tanabe medallion touring or the Greddy EVO2?

What about the Cobb exhaust? I looked around, I seem to like that one the most.

But, anyone got the decimal levels of the Tanabe, Greddy, and Fujisubos? I'm thinking we need a comparision chart.

I'lll start, taken from: http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=3428

Stock Exhaust

idle - 74dB
SAE - 81dB

Stock DP & Cat with COBB Cat Back

idle - 80dB
SAE - 88dB

COBB DP, Stock Cat, COBB Cat Back

idle - 79dB
SAE - 93dB

COBB DP, COBB Catless Test Pipe, COBB Cat Back

idle - 83dB
SAE - 98dB

COBB DP, COBB high flow Catted Test Pipe, COBB Cat back

idle 80dB
SAE 94dB

the cobb catback comes with new bolts for the mid pipe and the muffler. I went from a Helix to a Cobb and I love it. My cobb CBE bolted right to my helix dp and tp. also comes with new gaskets. good luck with your choice

Unfortunately, it's not going to hook to my buschur cat, the cat slip fits to the midpipe on it instead of bolting. The only bolts are DP to Cat. I may end up with a full Cobb exhaust after the end of this research. Though, the Tanabe and Fujistubis is nice too. Want to get some of those DB tests in and see what the board can figure out.

Go hit up the fujitsubo site and be educated. They pretty much engineer the rm exhaust to be near stock at idle and part throttle but add slight gains (you're going to get the most gains from parts closest to the turbine.)

RM-01A idle : 70db, 4000rpm: 94DB.
This is just the catback, i believe. I can't really read the site too well.

If anyone can see it better, please post it up.
