My car has a Jan '03 build date and I have no problems whatsoever.

I am also pretty hard on the car with over 40 passes at the drag strip and numerous high 1.7 and 1.8 60 ft's running a bunch of mid 13 passes. Clutch isn't showing any sign of slipping yet and I've smoked her good on a few occasions.

Feb '03 here. Little over 3K miles and she seems to be running strong.

And speaking of passes, I went to the track last weekend and there were a couple Evo's there running and none of them could get out of the 15's. I was passing along info that I had gathered here w/ some of the guys there and none of them could get the car to not bog. Any advice I can pass along to them?

Its a bit off topic, but a bog is usually because the launch RPM is a little too low, and the clutch was released completely.. Most of the best launches are done at high RPM (Scary high for some of us) with a slight amount of slip.. I personally smoked my clutch twice attempting that.. but on two occasions I had a decent 60' time and an amazing 12.93 quarter. This was when the car was bone stock.. Its an earlier build and the car certainly felt alot stronger than I expected. With my mods I haven't been to the track, but I don't know that its going to be much quicker.

I do suspect the slower trap speeds are probably due to the rev/fuel limiter.. It would be nice to get 8000 rpm out of the motor(if it were not going to grenade the motor! I have no clue what would happen)
