i was lookinng to purchase the BC cams too but i saw there are different stages for them is that their way of... them being 260's 272' and 280's? i wans getting a little confused.

If you run 280's on your IX it is recommended you have springs and retainers. The 280 means that you will have more power up top, but lower end torque and so on. I would say go with the 272's for a wider range across the powerband.

The 272's work best using anything up to a GT 35r or 60-1 with a stock intake manifold and TB. If you have an aftermarket intake manifold, and a GT 35R or larger then the 280's are the way to go.

It has a naughty word in it! Hey my buddy runs www.pricematchedparts.com. His site is still under construction, so the cams aren't on there yet, but he is an authorized dealer for Brian Crower so he can get some good deals on those cams. I'm pretty sure he quoted me less than 300 for them.
