HKS and Brian Crower
Why is ONE HKS cam more than two Brian Crower cams? I found Brians for 320 shipped and thats for both exhaust and intake, where HKS sells one exhaust for 380.......Im confused, is HKS just proud of their products?

I've had good results with the BC 280's vs. HKS 272's.
On my T4 T70, from 6800 rpm all the way to 9500 rpm it pulls like a freight train.

Paying for a name my friend. The cams perform identical from all the data Ive seen. I have had 272 BC's in my car for a long *** time now and they are great. Got mine for just under 300 for both
I also did the springs and retainers at the same time. No they are not needed but I figured if I ever wanted to upgrade to 280's i'd be ready for them

I changed the compression from 8.0 to 9.0 to 1 as well as the cams at the same time, but above 8,000 rpm with the 272's horsepower started falling off, where the 280's keep going. The turbo, fmic, head, tb, and intake manifold were the same as the 272's. With the 272's I made 681 awhp with a way more aggresive tune on both a/f and timing. On the 703awhp dyno run with the BC 280's the a/f stayed 1 point richer, total timing advance was 5 degrees less, and it was over 15 degrees hotter in the dyno room with the 280's as well vs with the 272's. The gains you will see depend on your entire set-up (intake manifold, cylinder head, TB, turbo, and exhaust). It would be safe to say that a 15 to 25 awhp gain is possible. They made the best power with stock cam timing as well.

It has a naughty word in it! Hey my buddy runs www.pricematchedparts.com. His site is still under construction, so the cams aren't on there yet, but he is an authorized dealer for Brian Crower so he can get some good deals on those cams. I'm pretty sure he quoted me less than 300 for them.
