Was gonna say the same thing. I used to work at a detail shop. Usually detail shops have specialized formula you can use that'll thin the paint and spread it a little. Very easy with a soft, lint-free cloth.

well i ordered 2 oem electric blue paint pens with clear coat before this happened, and i should be recieveing them tomorrow. hopefully this can be enough to cover all the scratches. some of the scratches are too deep though, like it looks black after removing the silver paint (hit my old silver oz) , and the bumper is kinda pushed in at the corner where it meets the quarter panel and tailight, but that isnt too noticeable unless compared to the other side... heres better pics

im not too worried about the white looking scratches, thats just paint of the other car, im worried about the black, i wonder if those pens can fix that

checkout the separation between the bumper and the quarter panel compared to the other side(perfect side)

We got 3 (out of the 15 we originally ordered) in, but they all went to customers whom had placed special orders.

We are expecting to get the remaining amount in the next 2-3 weeks.

Depending on your comprehensive deductible, you may want to report it to the insurance. Mine's only $100, and claims under $1,000 won't affect your premiums. (At least, in my case.) At any rate, you'd only have to pay $100. Just a thought.

Get the JDM Bumper. Or as I like to say, make your Evo how Mitu Japan designed to look. The bottom line with modifying the bumper crash beam is if it is done right, you shouldn't have any worries. I would NOT reccomend removing the crash beam. It can be removed, modified by a respected fabricator and installed under the bumper so you'll have crash protection that is minimally less than the stock beam.

Your Evo's a$$ will instantly look like its been on a 12-week stairmaster exercise regimen.

I forgot to add, my crash beam was modified and painted so nicely/cleanly that I would seriously be shocked if an adjuster said anything if I was ever rear-ended.

Quick Reply: Scratched my bumper, should i fix it or get the jdm ix bumper?
