getting tuned. any tips?

im getting my car dyno tuned by DB performance on wed morning. just wondering if theres anything i should know or bring to be better prepared, or make it eaiser for them?

Think i will spit out first what everyone will say...

**Boost Leak Test**

Check your clamps & hoses. Hell tighten your wheel lugs too lol jk

get fuel from a 76 gas station. and +1 on the boost leak. g/l.

Only put 1/4 fuel in if your doing a race gas map. The tuner should be able to pressure test anything for you, so don't really worth about leaks. To the statements about gas, they just mean don't use cheap gas. Other then that, get a video/digital camera and record that bish!

cool, heck yeah ill put the vid on youtube, & post a link. hopefully its nothing crazy like me throwing a rod or something. shooting for a conservative DD tune. maybe ill get 330whp......who knows

If by DB you mean David Buschur, there's a Sunoco right up the street that sells 94.

put whatever gas you'll be using on a daily basis...doesn't make sense to put race gas tuned then go out and daily drive the car with 93

oh don't forget to bring money to pay the tuner, sometimes beer/alcohol helps too lol

Definitely don't do that. LOL. The other way around is fine though. Or better yet, get a pump and race gas map.

have him email the two roms to you to upload via ecuflash? Dunno if that's normal business practice though. That or get a piggyback.

Also do a compression test and fix exhaust leaks.

go with low expectations, their dyno reads very low

and make sure you dont have any boost leaks
