does anybody out there have parents that are into dms? i think that would be awsome. some old guy comes to my work and he has a 100% stock 2g that the only drives like 1000 miles a year and puts like 1000$ or more of oem parts in it every year to keep it fresh.

After I let my dad take it for a few spins he couldn't believe the "thrust". he said the only faster feeling car he'd driven was in the 60's and that was a real AC cobra 427...which could easily break the tires loose in any gear. I've actually caught him checking out used modified evo's online a few times now

when i first got my car, my father was saying 4 cylinder this, 4 cylinder that.. blah blah blah. the typical push rod v8 lover comments. after i took him for a ride he changed his song and dance awfuly quick. now he loves it when i ask him to come with me to do logging runs on the highway. haha hes amazed how the car comes out of the hole when i launch it. hes addicted!

My dad just whines about how nice his 93 buick century rides and how my car is a death trap. This coming from a guy who used to work on race cars back in the day. The only time he was ever out to help me work on one of my cars was my Camaro. He absolutely HATED my DSM's. My grandfather loves my Evo though, says its like a plane taking off, lol.

My wife and I were moving. We went to pickup the Uhaul, which I drove the Uhaul back to the house, she drove my car. She disappeared on me and came back 20 minutes later looking like we had been...................
All she had to say was "Now I understand"
